Inspired by the beautiful landscapes and the unique seascapes surrounding her, Christine Vogensen explores organic textures and patterns through the flow of color. She favors the process of wet felting, but has been known to poke herself in the finger while needle felting.

Please visit the Felt Sculpture Gallery page for examples of her work.

When using epoxy resin, an innovative medium that has a very limited working time, Christine is encouraged to paint boldly and quickly. As an abstract realist, she focuses on the visual expression of mood and creates action through the interplay of colors. As a final touch, Christine enjoys adding a sprinkle of gold or silver, bringing her art to life.

Please visit the Resin Painting Gallery page for examples of her work.

Christine currently serves as Vice President of the Northeast Feltmakers Guild, a dynamic 150 member organization devoted to education in felting techniques.
